Principal Systems Developer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Principal Systems Developer to join our team at BAE Systems. As a senior member of our Systems Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex system architectures and sub-systems using Model Based Systems Engineering approach.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, specifically in real-time and safety-critical systems. Experience with integration, test and verification of such systems is also desirable. Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing complex system architectures and sub-systems
- Collaborating with customers to understand their complex needs
- Integration, analysis and test of real time systems containing multiple technical disciplines
Salary Range: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will be part of a dynamic and innovative team that develops and supplies products across a diverse mix of commercial and military platforms. Our team encourages our Systems Engineers to gain a breadth of knowledge across these domains to become subject matter experts in one or more product domain, or systems engineering specialism.
