Renewable Energy Engineer

As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in installing low-carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
You'll have the opportunity to learn about new technologies and receive top-notch training in our state-of-the-art £10m training centre, giving you the confidence to install the kit, find solutions to challenges, and share low-carbon advice with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
\u2022 Work as part of a team to install low-carbon technology in customers' homes
\u2022 Learn about new technologies and receive training in our state-of-the-art centre
\u2022 Use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to deliver an outstanding experience
\u2022 Review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings
\u2022 Work with an electrician to commission Air Source Heat Pumps
\u2022 Lead a team, be responsible for your crew, and empower them to make on-the-fly decisions
Requirements:
\u2022 Experienced in the installation of boilers
\u2022 Knowledge of air source heat pumps is a plus
\u2022 Experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and fault-finding
\u2022 Domestic hot & cold water system knowledge
\u2022 Experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications & mechanical drawings
\u2022 Basic competency in electrical levels is a plus
\u2022 Experience with hydraulic systems to design & quality standards - CIBSE & MCS is a plus
\u2022 F-gas certification is a plus
