Overview


TTElectronics is seeking a seasoned Logistics and Operations Director to lead the Production Control and Logistics department at our Fairford site. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer deliveries are well-planned, coordinated, and executed.


About the Role:


This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with an immediate start. You will be responsible for leading, developing, and continuously improving the PC&L department, setting the Manufacturing Production Schedule (MPS), coordinating build sequences, and ensuring kitted material is provided on time from the Stores Team.


You will work closely with the Production Manager, Head of Programs, and Supply Chain Manager to align efforts and ensure seamless execution of customer requirements. Your expertise in logistics and operations will drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall site performance.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective planning across departments.
  • Create and update weekly MPS schedules to ensure timely production and delivery.
  • Oversee inventory management, including cycle counting and maintaining healthy inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team governance, visual management, KPI tracking, and physical environment.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:



  • Degree-level education or equivalent, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Project Management.
  • Proven track record in a similar role with experience in ERP and MRP systems (SAP, Epicor, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Data-driven, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Power BI). Preferably experienced in working in a manufacturing environment.
