Job Description for Class 1 Driver at Eastern Logistics

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 driver to join our team at Eastern Logistics. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
  • Transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting customer expectations
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 license with a maximum of 6 points
  • Commercial Driver's Permit (CPC)
  • Minimum 10 hours of driving experience per shift
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
