Job Overview

We are currently seeking to recruit a number of experienced Family Group Conference Co-ordinators to join our team in Children's Social Care.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Family Group Conferences and working with young people and their families to come to their own decisions about how they will care for their children.

Responsibilities

  • Organise and chair Family Group Conferences
  • Work with young people and their families to facilitate participation and engagement
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of Family Group Conferences

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of facilitating Family Group Conferences
  • Good communication and mediation skills
  • Ability to engage quickly with clients
  • Adaptability and flexibility

Benefits and Salary

The salary for this position is £25 per hour, dependent on experience, plus travel expenses. The London Borough of Lambeth is a Stonewall diversity champion and a Living Wage Employer.
