We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Morson Talent. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and assess all aspects of project delivery from order receipt to completion.
- Facilitate collaboration among engineers, designers, and production teams to develop and produce projects.
- Understand technical information and quality documentation in response to customer requirements.
- Manage project phases, address concerns from stakeholders, and maintain budget control.
- Provide leadership and set the tone for project execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring transparency throughout the project.
- Set up and manage daily calls with customers to maintain strong relationships.
- Provide regular reporting summaries to stakeholders.
- Support clients in navigating technical and commercial assurance requirements.
- Visit sites to verify project progress and gather stakeholder/customer feedback.
- Obtain and validate documentation from customers.
- Collaborate with production and quality departments to plan workload and achieve project schedules.
- Monitor labor utilization and provide reports to support cost recovery for delays.
- Lead by example on all matters related to HSE.
- Ability to apply logical, analytical, and innovative thinking on technical problems.
- Effective team working skills.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
- Commercial awareness, including knowledge of NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Degree-level qualification in Engineering or similar.
- Project management qualifications, such as Prince 2, APM, or PMI.
- Formal engineering qualification, minimum level HND/HNC.
- Working experience in Industrial, Mechanical, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
- Awareness of industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards.
