The Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll play a key role in shaping the user experience for our players. You'll work closely with our design team to create a world-class experience that meets the needs of our players.

Responsibilities

  • Create a UX strategy that aligns with our game development goals
  • Design and iterate on the player experience to ensure a clear understanding of the game's core loops and mechanics
  • Develop prototypes using tools like Figma to demonstrate designs and gather feedback
  • Establish a UI style that suits our game's theme and audience and create high-quality UI assets
  • Oversee the importing of UI assets into Unity and configure for mobile performance
  • Add motion, VFX, and other enhancements to create an engaging player experience

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in UX or UI roles within the games industry
  • Expertise in creating great player experiences and delivering on expectations of a modern mobile game
  • Proficiency in crafting high-quality UI elements and implementing them efficiently into the game
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to tackle design challenges in live service games
  • Figma proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Unity UI (uGUI) and ability to integrate UI independently
  • Experience working with games-as-a-service products and modern mobile live-ops
  • Passion for mobile games and interest in UI/UX trends and methodology
