Are you a numerate and analytical student looking to launch your career in tax? Our Tax Internship Programme at Schroders is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.
The Programme
Our 10-week programme will provide you with a unique introduction to the investment management industry and the tax department's role within it. You'll receive introductory training and opportunities to network with colleagues across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the completion of tax compliance obligations
- Analyse data and use it within tax processes
- Work with the business to understand the impact of tax changes
- Form good working relationships with other teams and offices
- Communicate, explain, and escalate issues and ideas within the Group Tax team and the wider business
What We're Looking For
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Numerate and analytical – solid numerical skills and a high attention to detail
- Organised, diligent, and methodical
- Collaborative and flexible – happy to get involved in a variety of tasks and projects
- Enthusiasm, focus, and willingness to work hard
- Positive and hands-on approach to new tasks and subject matter
- A growth mindset – we understand you may make mistakes, and when you do, we're looking for you to learn from them
Eligibility
- Penultimate year of study or in final year of study if planning to continue further studies (i.e. Masters)
