About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Chef to join our team at our Burton nursery. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking healthy meals and snacks for our children.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 28 days' annual leave, birthday off, and childcare discounts.
Job Description
As an Assistant Nursery Chef, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Cooking and preparing healthy meals and snacks for our children
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
- Following safe working practices and adhering to company policies
- Working collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate and have previous experience in a similar position.
