About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Lead Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner to join our theatre department. As a key member of our team, you will perform the scrub role in Consultant-led surgeries, specialising in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform the scrub role in complex and specialist Orthopaedic Surgeries
  • Specialise in surgical care for patients undergoing Orthopaedic procedures
  • Work effectively in both a team environment and independently
Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic nature
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) - Desirable but not essential
  • Minimum 2 years of Ortho Scrub experience combined with people management experience
