About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Care Home Administrator to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient running of our care home.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage customer enquiries and showrounds for prospective families, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Support resident and family feedback, focusing on customer care and driving occupancy and reputation of the care home.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, completing employment new starter checks and arranging inductions.
  • Prepare payroll for home-based staff and provide advice and guidance to employees on HR-related queries.
  • Ensure personal files are stored securely and attend meetings to produce accurate notes and minutes.
  • Manage safe contents, petty cash, and resident fund accounts, and update staff records with ad-hoc training, supervisions, and appraisals.
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer-facing role and previous involvement in HR administration and recruitment.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • CIPD qualification is beneficial.
