Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior ILS Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. This role involves providing expertise in Integrated Logistics Support and working with cutting-edge technologies to ensure products are developed to be supportable.

About the Job

Key Responsibilities
  • Tailor the scope and scale of ILS activities to meet User, Customer, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers to enhance the reliability, maintainability, and usability aspects of designs.
  • Develop optimal support solutions for each customer.
  • Conduct various analyses such as life cycle cost analyses, level of repair analyses, sparing analyses, and failure modes and effects analyses.
  • Elicit and derive support requirements and propose methods for verification.
  • Develop supportability cases and conduct analyses to provide assurance of support solutions.
  • Model and analyse reliability and maintainability.
  • Identify potential system failures due to human error.
  • Create technical manuals and troubleshooting guides.
  • Support system hazard analysis and implement obsolescence strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience from navy, army, or air force.
  • Knowledge and experience in Reliability & Maintainability, including Reliability Prediction, RBDs, FTAs, FMECAs, MTAs, and FRACAS/DRACAS.
  • Experience in reviewing work produced by domain specialists in areas such as Integrated Logistics Support, Operational Analysis, Whole Life Cost Modelling, and Training Development.
  • Able to achieve Security Clearance (SC) or higher with no caveats.
  • Fully qualified driver with ability to travel occasionally.
  • Proficiency in using PTC Windchill, Isograph, or similar modelling software.
