Production Operator Job Description

First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our client's operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient running of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute operational and maintenance activities in accordance with approved processes and procedures.
  • Investigate plant problems and identify solutions.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete shift handovers and ensure safe working practices.
  • Support the Production Team Leader in preparation of safety documents.
  • Assist and cover duties within the fuel and ash production teams.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the power utility sector.
  • Mechanical or electrical skills, including fault finding techniques.
  • High degree of flexibility, self-motivation, and ability to work well as part of a team.

Location: Thetford

Salary: £30,713 - £44,217 DOE + Benefits
