About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Boots Healthcare Professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to our customers.

In this role, you will receive comprehensive training to develop your skills and knowledge in healthcare services. You will learn how to complete the ear wax removal process, explain procedures to customers, and use cameras to examine ears before removing ear wax.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and verify their details to ensure a positive experience.
  • Manage appointment bookings for the earwax removal service, ensuring efficient scheduling and communication with customers.
  • Explain the earwax removal procedure to customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Remove earwax safely and efficiently, prioritizing customer comfort and health.
  • Record medical notes accurately, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection standards.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety standards, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.
  • Maintain adequate stock of necessary materials, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with audiologists, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to escalate queries and signpost customers to additional services.
  • Participate in the Healthcare Advisor Programme and support future Pharmacy Services within the store.
