Secure Product Development Lead

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our efforts in securing our products and protecting our customers' data.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into product design and development, contributing to the development and maintenance of a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), and providing mentorship and guidance on security best practices and secure development processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate security into product design and development.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security code reviews.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on security best practices and secure development processes.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience in product security or similar roles.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in secure coding practices and development experience in languages like Python, C++, Rust, Go, and Kotlin/Java.
  • Strong technical background in software development, system architecture, and security tools.
  • Experience working with and securing both Windows and Linux-based systems.
  • Extensive experience with one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Alibaba Cloud used in a hybrid environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment, and development of mitigation strategies for large-scale, complex systems.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This salary range is estimated based on industry standards and the level of expertise required for this role.
