About the Role

As a member of our Research and Development team, you will be part of a cutting-edge project that focuses on developing innovative solutions for our Rail Infrastructure business. You will work on projects such as cloud-based signalling protection systems, advanced traffic management systems, and safety-critical electronics, among others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering project objectives across various phases of the project lifecycle, including project management, software development and testing, systems engineering, and quality processes.
  • Develop a working knowledge of our products, systems, and strategies for implementation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying efficiencies and promoting engineering excellence.
  • Carry out work placements in technical and non-technical areas.
  • Promote our projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have achieved or are on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a general engineering, software, physics, or computer science related degree. You should possess logical thinking, a willingness to self-learn and research, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
