Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at DCS Group.

This role is at the heart of our operations, playing a pivotal part in maintaining our financial health and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Debt Management: Maintain control over our overdue balances and serve as the go-to expert for resolving customer invoicing queries.
  • Account Reconciliations: Ensure our accounts are accurate and issues are swiftly resolved, supporting strong, transparent relationships with our clients.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify late payers and potential risks, working closely with our Credit Control Manager to safeguard our business.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by collaborating with account managers to enhance our cash collection and query resolution processes.
  • Ad-Hoc Responsibilities: Provide versatile and valuable support to the team, including reporting, bank reconciliations, and stepping in to support colleagues.
Requirements
  • Credit Control Expertise: Possess experience in credit control with strong numerical skills and intermediate Excel abilities.
  • Organisational Superpower: Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, confidence, and time management expertise, delivering top-notch customer service.
  • Team Player: Thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment, enjoying the camaraderie of a dedicated team.
  • Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with Sage accountancy software and databases is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential.
