We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at AD Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including sales and purchase ledgers.
- Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage credit control, chasing debtors and ensuring prompt payment.
- Prepare and post journals, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Manage holiday requests and ensure seamless coverage of financial tasks.
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to prioritize and plan workload effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of VAT and CIS rules, with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
- Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- A positive and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary up to £26,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
