We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at AD Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Manage credit control, chasing debtors and ensuring prompt payment.
  • Prepare and post journals, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Manage holiday requests and ensure seamless coverage of financial tasks.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan workload effectively, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of VAT and CIS rules, with a strong understanding of financial regulations.
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
  • A positive and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to £26,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience.
