Food Experience Specialist

We're recruiting a talented Food Experience Specialist to help us create memorable dining experiences for Defence customers on a part-time basis (15 hours/week). The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and serving high-quality food, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
The successful applicant will work closely with our catering team to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse client base. They will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety, as well as monitoring inventory levels and managing stock effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services, listening to customer feedback and acting on it to consistently improve our services.
- Supporting the creation of new menus and creative food concepts that meet the needs of our diverse client base.
- Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image through exceptional customer service.
- Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and efficiently run.
- Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
Our Ideal Candidate: You will be a motivated and experienced chef with a passion for creating exceptional food experiences. You will have a strong understanding of kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff development, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. With a competitive salary of £34,800 estimated annually based on a 15-hour working week, you will be rewarded for your hard work and dedication.
