Cybersecurity Specialist

Valeo Confectionery Limited is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and improving our IT security posture.

• Collaborate with the wider IT Operations team to identify and remediate vulnerabilities across the business.
• Maintain and update client and server EDR systems to ensure optimal security performance.
• Support project delivery and new security system implementations to enhance our overall security posture.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to protect yourself and others, reporting any concerns immediately.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or IT system administration with a focus on security.
• Proven expertise in incident response, systems monitoring, and analysis.
• Strong relationships with office and remote staff are essential for success in this role.
• Techincal experience with Microsoft servers and clients, as well as client and server EDR anti-virus systems.
• Familiarity with security principles, including AV, email security, and firewalls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (with a focus on security and compliance) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A flexible approach to work supporting a 24/7 production environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
