Co-Pack Operations Manager

Great Bear is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Co-Pack Manager to join our team. As a Co-Pack Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Co-Pack Department, ensuring that all service and cost targets are met in accordance with QA and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the Co-Pack operations team to ensure the construction and delivery of products meet high standards.
- Ensure the final product meets client specifications and quality standards.
- Maximize production efficiency to ensure plans are met on an hourly/daily basis.
- Act as the initial point of contact with customers and manage the operation in line with the Quality Management System.
- Effectively use onsite Warehouse Management systems to drive Continuous Improvement.
- Plan and manage labour resourcing against production plans to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure production process efficiency targets are communicated, owned, targeted, and delivered.
- Liaise with internal departments to provide effective communication of production requirements.
- Ensure all areas comply with hygienic audits, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure all training and skills matrices are up to date and identify and manage any gaps to support the development of production workers.
- Communicate plans with customers and site operations to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Flexibility to cover a variety of areas within the warehouse and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work on their own initiative and be a team player.
- Demonstrate knowledge of on-site systems and be PC literate in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and have excellent time management skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to lead a team, delegate, supervise functions, and keep staff motivated.
