About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Learning and Development Trainer to join Austin Fraser on a maternity cover basis. This position involves delivering both classroom and digital training for new starters, ongoing training needs, and compliance with new legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programmes for onboarding and continual training requirements.
  • Collaborate with managers and other stakeholders to assess training and development needs.
  • Organise and support training dates, including planning locations for onsite sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and legislative training requirements.
  • Contribute to promoting best practices in professional development within the team.
  • Be flexible regarding travel and occasional out-of-hours training sessions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an L&D professional or Trainer, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong ability to design and deliver both online and classroom training.
  • Experience in meeting legislative training requirements.
  • Must have a valid driver's licence and own vehicle for travel to various sites across the Northwest.
