Job Title: MRI Specialist Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Specialist Radiographer to join our team at Nuffield Health St Bartholomew's Hospital.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital with cutting-edge equipment and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. As a Specialist MRI + Rotational Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a diverse range of patients.
  • Be highly proficient in the use of MRI equipment and technology.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Take an active role in supervising and developing junior colleagues.
  • Ensure MRI safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Participate in departmental audits and quality assurance programs.
  • Provide input to the review and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge in MRI.
  • More than 3 years' experience in MRI.
  • Experience in a wide range of MRI scans, including cardiac.
  • Experience in one other modality, such as CT or Cath Lab.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
