Product Owner FTC (12 Months)

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 Base Salary

Location: West Sussex – 2 days a week in the office, 3 WFH (Flexible)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to join our agile product development team to deliver a pre-agreed roadmap of features – Mobile App and Web. This is a 12 Month Contract with an ASAP start date.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver against an agreed roadmap of product enhancements
  • Work closely with an agile product team
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts for Sign-Off
  • Maintain a detailed sprint plan
  • Report on sprint progress and key feature delivery to internal stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Share the product vision with the larger business
  • Work with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters & SMEs to maximise the efficiency of the team

Requirements:

  • Experience working within agile software development teams in a Product Manager role or similar
  • Experience working within a wide range of technologies and a good technical mindset
  • Ability to articulate a good understanding of agile principles and methodologies
  • Proven track record of developing successful products
  • Strong self-starter with strong organisation skills
  • Keen eye for detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to influence and set clear achievable expectations
  • Good understanding of MS Office, specifically in documenting and presenting information
  • Bonus: Agile Product Owner or Scrum Master Certification
  • Bonus: Experience working with Azure Dev Ops
  • Bonus: Story boarding/ workshop experience
  • Experience of product analysis using Google Analytics
