Role Overview

At Ansible Motion, we create and deploy high-fidelity Driver-in-the-Loop (DIL) simulators to automotive, motorsport, and research organisations worldwide. As the Project Group Manager, you will lead the project group and its teams, consisting of the project delivery team, procurement team, and logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the project group and its teams.
  • Lead high-profile projects as the designated project manager.
  • Accountable for a portfolio of projects, including customer-facing driving simulator projects and internal R&D initiatives.
  • Track all projects, create management information, and key performance indicator reporting.
  • Undertake company-level resource planning and liaise with other groups to ensure projects are adequately resourced.
  • Develop and implement project management tools, methods, and processes to improve the project management function.
  • Lead and develop the procurement team to take a strategic approach to project purchases.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in project/program/portfolio management in a technical and/or engineering environment.
  • Recognised project management qualification and/or affiliation.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Experience in managing and reporting the financial elements of projects.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams, and coaching individuals.
