Commodities Trading Analytics Developer

We are seeking a talented Commodities Trading Analytics Developer to join our team at BlueCrest Capital Management in London. As a key member of our Front office technology group, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our quant analytics libraries and risk tools.

The successful candidate will have strong mathematical and programming skills, with experience in C#, C++, and Python. You will work closely with our trading desk to implement pricing, risk, and market analysis tools, and collaborate with our development team to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.

This is an excellent opportunity for a delivery-focused individual with solid quant research and front office development experience to work directly with the trading desk without bureaucracy or politics.

You will be responsible for gathering requirements, working closely with other London teams, and reviewing code changes before release globally. A good understanding of commodities markets, including exchange and OTC contracts, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quant analytics libraries and risk tools
  • Implement pricing, risk, and market analysis tools
  • Collaborate with the trading desk and development team
  • Gather requirements and review code changes

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' C# quantitative development experience in the financial industry
  • Python experience in a front office environment, with knowledge of web and data visualization libraries
  • Commodities experience, including understanding of exchange and OTC contracts
  • Experience in C++

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience
