Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner Lead

We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Clinical Practitioner to lead our team at Luton Urgent Treatment Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 5 hours per week (with two full-time equivalents available). You will be based at our Luton Urgent Treatment Centre, working closely with local healthcare providers and the wider HUC unscheduled care division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
  • Work collaboratively with remote GPs, other ANPs/ENPs/ECPs, and operational staff to deliver outstanding care
  • Contribute to meeting Key Performance Indicators mandated by the service
  • Participate in continuous professional development and appraisal/revalidation
  • Develop and implement new ideas to improve patient care and service delivery

Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency department settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
