About the Company: Our client is a dynamic SME contractor specializing in manufacturing and fit-out projects within the healthcare sector. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality projects that meet the specific needs of their clients.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Small Works Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage manufacturing and fit-out projects within the healthcare sector

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control procedures

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

Proven experience working on fit-out and manufacturing projects

Background in working with SME contractors (not tier one contractors)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness to be office-based in Greater Manchester three days a week and visit sites nationwide
