Unlock Digital Transformation Opportunities in Public Sector Transport

Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to drive the success of our Public Sector Transport Vertical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing deals with new and existing customers, helping them achieve their digital transformation goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new leads for all Salesforce products and services, leveraging your deep understanding of the UK Transport ecosystem.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships with senior customer stakeholders, understanding their business objectives and digital transformation challenges.
  • Solution Positioning: Position Salesforce's solutions as the best way to address customers' outstanding needs and drive business growth.
  • Presentation and Proposal Development: Build compelling presentations and proposals that optimally communicate the value proposition of Salesforce's Digital solutions.
  • Account Management: Lead a virtual internal team to build a road map and strategic plan for each account, bringing them into the sales process whenever possible.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire end-to-end sales cycle, utilizing the MEDDIC methodology to assist with qualifying opportunities at every stage.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate and close deals, securing new business and growing customer relationships.
  • Pipeline Management: Lead a pipeline of opportunities, supervising progress and providing accurate forecasting.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring customer success and improving the value they derive from Salesforce's solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies to effectively advise customers and deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an AE or Sales Representative in the technology industry, with a proven record of success in identifying, developing, and closing deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the UK Transport ecosystem and the complexities involved in working with each individual organization.
  • Product Knowledge: Deep knowledge of Salesforce solutions, with the ability to articulate their benefits and applications to potential customers.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels, from technical guides to business decision-makers.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to secure new business and expand customer relationships.
  • Results-Oriented: A results-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Team Player: A positive, can-do approach to activity that drives energy and enthusiasm across the virtual team.
