In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex fabrication and welding tasks, developing your communication and interpersonal skills, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of welding processes, including MMA/MIG and gas welding, brazing, and soldering on various types of materials.
  • Work independently to fabricate, modify, and rework special tankers, skid bases, silencers, and containers used in the production of generator sets and associated hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintain a high level of attention to detail to meet quality standards.
  • Use slinging equipment and cranes to transport work, and use a measuring tape and/or square to check work.
  • Work reasonable amounts of overtime and various shifts, including day and night shifts.

Requirements:

  • Formal apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in fabrication/welding discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and sequences of assembly prints.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
