Engineering Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Engineering team in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production facility and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Engineering team to deliver an effective preventative maintenance system
  • Ensure equipment and premises are maintained to auditable standards
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve quality standards and reduce breakdown time
  • Manage and develop the Engineering team to deliver an effective preventative maintenance system
  • Ensure staff and contractors practice safe work with permits and safety statements
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive quality, cost, reliability, and safety performance
  • Deliver solid cost and inventory controls
  • Possess an Engineering Qualification such as HND, HNC, BTECH or equivalent
  • An understanding of PLC is desirable
