Using data analytics procedures, you will identify trends, anomalies, and understand IT and business processes while pinpointing risks. This exciting and interesting work may involve evaluating risks around emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics Process Automation (RPA), and cyber-related risks.

As a Technology Risk Assurance Specialist, you will receive comprehensive support to reach your full potential and develop your technical skills. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality audits that are trusted and transparent, providing long-term value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing IT General Controls reviews across both simple and complex audited entities
  • Keeping IT Audit Managers, Leadership team, and Audit colleagues up-to-date with status, findings, and implications from the IT audit work, escalating at the right time to ensure challenges are addressed early
  • Assisting in scoping and planning data-enabled audit approaches to address audit risk in the most effective way
  • Coordinating and supporting our regional TRA team to support both the current and future pipeline of work
  • Bringing ideas to enhance delivery and escalating relevant matters throughout an engagement with respect to project delivery
  • Contributing to the development of methodologies and guidance for internal use as well as solutions to improve efficiency

Desired Skill Set:

  • CISA qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of IT general controls and application control reviews in support of external audit engagements, including understanding the implications of control deficiencies and approaches to test risk materialisation
  • Experience of supporting external audits of companies in the financial services sector
  • Experience of auditing ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle, and Dynamics AX
