At VanRath, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our client's team. As a key member of the operations department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance, repairs, and servicing of machinery at client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out on-site maintenance and repair of machinery to meet manufacturer standards
  • Conduct thorough inspections and adhere to equipment safety requirements
  • Report any faults or safety concerns promptly
  • Complete all documentation accurately and efficiently, both in hard copy and digital formats
  • Collaborate with the parts team for timely ordering and availability of required components
  • Perform other related duties as necessary

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Construction/Plant Maintenance or experience as a qualified technician/engineer in plant maintenance
  • Demonstrated experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and fault diagnosis
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to first-time quality workmanship
  • Excellent time management and reliability, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and safety-conscious with a proactive work ethic
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
