As a Medical Lead Consultant Psychiatrist at Elysium Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting clinical governance and service delivery across three sites in the South-west region. With an estimated salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, this senior leadership position offers a highly competitive package including a car allowance, pension scheme, and life assurance.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to take on a challenging and rewarding medical leadership role. As the Medical Lead for our acute and locked rehabilitation mental health services, you will be responsible for providing senior clinical advisory support to sites on clinical matters and clinical strategy. You will also participate in the development and reviewing of policies and procedures, leading quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives, and supervising other medical staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Clinical Advisory Role: Provide expert clinical guidance and advice to sites on clinical matters and strategic planning.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care standards.
  • Leadership and Governance: Lead quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives to drive excellence in patient care.
  • Medical Management: Supervise and support other medical staff to ensure effective team management and development.
