Job Overview

This role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will also conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaboration with veterinary nurses and support staff is essential to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

Responsibilities
  • Performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on animals.
  • Conducting surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries.
  • Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Providing guidance and advice to pet owners on animal care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary of £45,000-65,000 per annum.
  • Annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • CPD Allowance.
  • VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid.
