This Deputy Home Care Manager position offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £23.18, which includes paid Enhanced DBS/PVG, free uniform, homemade meals while on shift, company pension scheme, 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays, group life assurance cover, Wagestream financial well-being, and award-winning learning and development opportunities.

About the Role:
  • Ensuring clinical care meets or exceeds professional standards and statutory requirements
  • Providing specialist nursing support and advice
  • Taking responsibility for resident care in the absence of the Home Manager
  • Supervising and coaching colleagues to deliver empathetic care
  • Recognising and reporting signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect
  • Attending safeguarding training and seeking appropriate advice when needed
Requirements:
  • A valid NMC Pin
  • Knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice
  • Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home
  • Excellent mentoring and time management skills
  • The ability to maintain meaningful records
  • A positive, kind, and considerate approach to communication
