Job Title: Divisional Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Divisional Operations Manager to join our team at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services across our division, working closely with clinical teams and senior managers to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor service delivery against strategic and business plans to ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve divisional objectives
  • Lead on service development and performance management, ensuring high-quality services and excellent patient experience
  • Manage a team of administrative staff, including supervisors, clinic staff, and medical secretaries
  • Deputise for the Divisional Director of Operations as required
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in healthcare or management, or equivalent senior management experience
  • Operational management experience within the acute sector
  • Proven track record of meeting significant national targets
  • Knowledge and understanding of the modernisation agenda and service change
  • Significant experience of staff management, budget management, and project management
