Role Overview:
CNC Machine Operative-Nights at Reed Engineering.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced CNC Setter to join our global team, working on high-quality custom-engineered sealing solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in both small and large batch production environments, leveraging their expertise in engineering drawings and AutoCAD to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Machining a range of sealing products in plastic and rubber materials to meet quality standards and deadlines.

  • Setting and operating 3-axis CNC machinery.
  • Creating, loading, and modifying CNC programs.
  • Inspecting work and ensuring all parts are manufactured to drawing and specified tolerances.
  • Performing general workshop duties as required.

Salary Range:
The estimated salary for this role is around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Setter, with a background in mixed batch production.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Jetcam NUM controls.
  • Computer literacy.
