Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Bakkavor. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Performing financial analysis and providing insights to management to inform business decisions
- Developing and implementing financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. You will have a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and experience working with ERP systems, specifically SAP S/4 HANA. You will also have a sound understanding of UK adopted International Accounting Standards and relevant UK GAAP.
