Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and motivate our team in delivering new and developing projects at our Tunstead Quarry site in Derbyshire.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from conception to handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget.
  • Lead and motivate a team of project managers to achieve project objectives and deliver maximum value to the business.
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Regional Directors, Regional Managers, and Health & Safety teams, to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Experience working in a heavy industry environment, preferably in cement production or mineral processing.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
