About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Enterprise Architect to join our team at Intelix. As a key member of our Global Asset Management Enterprise Architecture team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic technology landscape of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the enterprise architecture strategy for the Investment Solutions and Services division.
  • Engage with C-suite stakeholders and product owners to ensure technology solutions align with business strategies and objectives.
  • Oversee the architecture and implementation of critical technology platforms, including Finbourne, Snowflake, and other cloud technologies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Senior Enterprise Architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including solutions architecture, data flows, and integration architecture.
  • Conduct deep-dive reviews of technical solution designs to ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices.
  • Present architectural solutions to various governance bodies, including Technical Design Authority and Architecture Review Board.

Candidate Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an enterprise architect in the financial services industry, particularly in asset management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of senior architects and engineers.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and data management solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • In-depth understanding of financial products, private assets, and investment management operations.
  • Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and best practices in DevOps and Agile methodologies.

Major Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the strategic roadmap for the division's technology landscape, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of senior enterprise architects, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Innovation: Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and business agility.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, providing insights and recommendations on technology investments and architectural strategies.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all technology solutions adhere to corporate standards, governance processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects, from initial concept through implementation and ongoing optimization.

Focus on Asset Management and Asset Classes

  • Equities: Understand and address the architecture needs for equity trading, portfolio management, and analytics to support investment strategies.
  • Fixed Income: Design systems to handle the complexities of bonds, derivatives, and other fixed income products, including risk management and compliance.
  • Private Assets: Tackle the unique challenges of private equity, real estate, and other alternative investments, focusing on valuation, reporting, and transparency.
  • Multi-Asset Solutions: Create frameworks to support diversified investment strategies across various asset classes, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.
  • ESG Investments: Incorporate environmental, social, and governance criteria into the technology architecture to support sustainable and responsible investment initiatives.
