About the Role

This Senior Mechanical Designer will support the production and in-service operation of products for aerospace, land-based systems, rail, and oil & gas industries.

">

The ideal candidate has experience in mechanical design engineering and an understanding of basic electrical controllers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Review and analyze product-related issues arising during production or in-service operation.">
  • Define corrective actions, component alternatives, or redesign proposals to address production or in-service related issues.">
  • Support production assembly and test teams to resolve design-related yield or performance issues.">
  • Occasional visits to suppliers may be required to assist with product design, yield, or performance issues.">
  • Produce and review engineering documents to a high standard.">
  • Work effectively within multidisciplinary and inter-departmental teams.">

  3. Provide support outside of normal tasks to ensure customer satisfaction.">
  4. Take on ad hoc duties including training, department-associated tasks, and brief secondments.">
