School Estates Manager Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at a school for pupils with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's estates, including facilities management and leading others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of the school's provision, including safeguarding and health and safety activity.
- Lead and manage the school's estates team to ensure the smooth operation of facilities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety and safeguarding.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management and leading others.
- Strong understanding of health and safety and safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a temporary position through Teaching Personnel, with the option to become permanent. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the past 2 years of employment history. The role covers 36.25 hours per week with 25-30 days of holiday allowance per year, increasing with continuous service. Dependent on skills and experience, the successful applicant will receive a corresponding pay scale.
