Trainee Financial Planner - Banstead

We are working with a wealth management firm in Surrey who have an opportunity for a Trainee Financial Planner to join their team.

You will receive learning support and hands-on experience, where you will be in control of how quickly you would like to be working as an adviser.

Responsibilities:

  1. Working closely with the administration team to help gather policy information.
  2. Assisting with projects such as Mifid annual reviews, client campaigns, and annual portfolio rebalances.
  3. Supporting advisers in writing reports, including annual review letters and client suitability reports.
  4. Speaking directly to clients and carrying out client reviews.
  5. Generating and converting opportunities into business.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Must have been studying for exams towards becoming an IFA or fully qualified.
  2. May already have some financial services industry experience and want to move on.
  3. Good skills in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  4. Keen to quickly work through the ranks by working hard.
  5. Good communication skills: phone, face-to-face, and written.
  6. Study support is available.
  7. Hold a driving license.

This is a 2/3 year programme with support for examinations to reach the fully qualified IFA status.
