Job Description:

As a Cost Consultant at Electus Recruitment Solutions, you will play a crucial role in providing cost estimates and engineering support to help the UK MOD and industry make informed decisions. This may involve working autonomously within customer teams to support business cases with analytical thinking and outcomes, estimating procurement and in-service costs, or leading workshops with customers and Subject Matter Experts to improve accuracy and understanding of project costs.

Key responsibilities include collecting, collating, and interpreting cost data from previous projects, supplier estimates, internal experts, and published sources. You will also need to have a good understanding of the principles, guidelines, and methods used in the cost analysis of equipment, systems, and capabilities, as well as experience in analysing cost data and providing support to business cases.

This is a permanent position with a hybrid/home working arrangement. Applicants who meet the criteria will also be required to undergo security clearance vetting, if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Experience of collecting, collating, and interpreting cost data from previous projects, supplier estimates, internal experts, and published sources.
- Good understanding of the principles, guidelines, and methods used in the cost analysis of equipment, systems, and capabilities.
- Experience of analysing cost data and providing support to business cases.
