A structural CAD design specialist is required by a successful consultancy with a secured long-term workload. This is an opportunity to work for a practice with a bright future that provides excellent terms of employment, hybrid working, and the opportunity to grow and develop with a well-managed business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare 2D and 3D layouts and assembly drawings of portal frame structures and automated racking systems for warehouses using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Reporting to the principal engineer, you will be an integral member of a team of twelve engineers and technicians.
  • Occasional site survey visits and drawing management.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years AutoCAD experience.
  • Qualified to HND level or above.
  • Knowledge of structural steel or architectural metalwork.
  • Exposure to Auto CAD Inventor.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with client representatives.
