Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate

EDEX is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate to join our team. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-class professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist - Psychology Graduate to support pupils with a wide range of needs, including Autism (ASD), PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), Speech and Language (SP&L), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN on a day-to-day basis, including those with ASD, PMLD, SLD, SP&L, and SEMH
  • Liaise with Class Teachers and the SENDCO regarding the progress of children
  • Provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children
  • Deliver specialist interventions to support students with SEN
  • Liaise with the school's therapists to ensure comprehensive support for students
Requirements:
  • Childcare related experience, particularly with a SEN focus - ideal
  • Resilience, patience, calm-natured, empathetic, and adaptable
  • Hardworking and driven individual who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
  • Experience of supporting children (4-18) with SEN - Autism, PMLD, SLD, SP&L - ideal
  • Future career ambitions to become an Ed Psych, Clin Psych, Therapist, Well Being Practitioner, etc.
