About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Medical Writer to join our team at Sciterion. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will be responsible for developing scientific expertise across various therapeutic areas and working closely with our Creative team to deliver high-quality medical content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scientific Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of various therapeutic areas, including their clinical and commercial strategies.
  • Medical Writing: Create high-quality medical content, including scientific documents, reports, and presentations, that meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.
  • Client Services: Work closely with our Client Services team to ensure that all account objectives are met, and client needs are exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior medical writers to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage projects to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow existing client accounts and contribute to the development of proposals and pitches.
Requirements
  • Medical Writing Experience: Proven experience in medical writing, preferably within a healthcare communications agency.
  • Scientific Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and various therapeutic areas.
  • Education: Life science degree educated, ideally with a higher qualification such as an MSc or PhD.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor your writing style to different target audiences.
