About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of acquired communication and swallowing disorders across a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage patients with acquired communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide inpatient services to patients with acquired communication/swallowing disorders
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Videofluoroscopy service
  • Support the development of skills in assessing and managing patients with a tracheostomy

Requirements

  • Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy as recognised by RCLST and HCPC
  • Membership of RCLST
  • Current Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration
  • Evidence of successful completion of postgraduate study in dysphagia
  • To provide evidence of ongoing CPD to meet regulatory body professional standards
