About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietetic Assistant to join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietetic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of Paediatric Dietitians in providing high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and review patients under the supervision of a Dietitian, providing nutritional advice and guidance within specific guidelines.
  • Accurately document the nutritional status of patients and support Dietitians in administrative duties, including generating clinical letters and ordering special feeds and diets.
  • Work closely with the multi-professional team, including Dietitians, Special Feed Unit, Medical staff, AHPs, Nursing staff, and Catering staff, to ensure seamless care and support for patients.

Requirements
